Shanna Moakler teams up with SMET clothing line

SMET is the clothing brand of rock and roll displaying the design of Christian Audigier and rock and roll hero Johnny Hallyday. Audigier is a denim king and greatly inspired the American culture and the art of tattoos. Through this, he was influenced to design a clothing brand named Ed Hardy and set his sights on achieving a dreams like his idol Johnny Hallday.

SMET is a line of tees, tanks, hoodies denim, polos, caps and accessories designed to tell the career and personality of Hallyday. Based in Hollywood, Smet, whose tag line is "born on the streets," counts among its celebrity fans and worn by Chris Brown, Tyrese, Nas, Shakira, Marilyn Manson, Madonna ,Caridee English, Tommy Hilfiger, and Hayden Christiansen so it makes sense that Shanna Moakler would want to work with them on her rock and rock style apparel.

Shanna Moakler is teaming up with SMET to launch a clothing line for kids. The clothes are to be a little more "rock & roll" than "warm & fuzzy".

Shanna Moakler is an American model and an actress which appeared on television series Pacific Blue. Her and two of her children will be appearing in print ads for the new product and her husband Travis will be making appearance in the ads.

"She is not only on design but on advertising"

The line will launch at the New York's Fashion Week at the Bryant Park Hotel's Cellar Bar, which is situated right next to all of the runway shows.

2008 fashion trend and styles

We have showing the 2008 fashion trends in fashion styles, handbags, clothing, apparels and designer looks. This year, the fashionising and examiner site has described the fashion trends "in" and "out" for 2008 and some have to be tossed aside with hopes of a future fashion resurrection.

Sheer fabrics trend

Sheer fabric fashion trend 2008 Blouses using sheer fabrics are back and with a level of sophistication. It can also used for skirts and pants as well. The sheer fabrics are structured, soft, sexy, sweet and feminine with a blunt edge. Dior, Chloe and Chanel are some of the big fashion houses that would like try it on for the year 2008.

Flapper fashion trend of 2008Since we saw, Kate Moss , we are predicting the 1920's flapper trends and it can be shown in the fashion runaway shows . The flapper fashion trend is particularly in vintage styles like loose-fitting dress , more minis , smocks and will populate into variety of different cuts and fits.

As shown in picture , this was the original 1920s flapper girl which will be seen as more independent and free and through the 2008 fashion revival it will become more feminine and sophisticated.

In 2008, flapper fashion is the cat's pyjamas.

Accentuated shoulders trend

Short sleeves on garments with pointed capped sleeves will take a new Padded shoulder trend of 2008look. Through using this clothes, shoulders will emphasized and looks you feminine .

As shown in picture is the short sleeves of YSL to the high rounded shoulders of Balenciaga. It is the same with the 1980's over sized shoulder padded power suits.

Giant handbags

2008 sees the year of the over sized bag and for larger tote-style or shoulder bags. Increased weight and bulk means that the humble clutch purse is relegated to evening wear, as the majority of bags are now carried over the shoulder rather than in the hand.

In 2008 the fashion industry has overdosed on that trend and bags will start shrinking in size.

Andy Roddick deal with Lacoste Apparel

Lacoste , is known for a world wide brand apparel and for its crocodile apparel logo. By 1933, Lacoste revolutionized men's sportswear, replacing the classic Lacoste polo. Lacoste has been a legacy because of boutiques operating around the world and US. They have great collection consists of luxury sportswear for men, women, and children as well as footwear, fragrance and other products.

Last April 2005, Andy Roddick signed a 5 years partnership with Lacoste and joined the Lacoste tennis team among of promising stars as Tatiana Golovin and Richard Gasquet.

Andy Roddick is one of the famous tennis star today. As he said, "Lacoste was an excellent company with a great tennis history and awesome clothing and associated with amazing brand". He has become the new face of tennis and become an instant icon as well.

Endorsement for Lacoste sunglasses started when Roddick was talking about an eyewear deal.
And through this deal, Lacoste quickly endorsement of Lacoste sunglasses. He will endorse Lacoste sunglasses for the next four years in a deal worth $750,000 to $1 million.

Andy represents in global sports a kind of America blue chip, apple pie meets Chevrolet type. and become something of a walking billboard. Lacoste outfits his eyewear and apparel, and French company Babolat supplies his rackets and tennis shoes. He also endorses, Lexus and American Express Co.
